FOGO ISLAND ARTS’ PATRONS PROGRAM

Fogo Island Arts’ Patrons Program brings together an extraordinary group of individuals who share FIA’s commitment to international contemporary art and to creating social, cultural and economic resiliency for Fogo Island and other small places around the world. Patrons are entitled to exclusive privileges and benefits in recognition of their vital support. FIA FRIENDS
This patronage opportunity is open to all with a financial contribution of $1,000 per year. Closely attuned to Fogo Island Arts’ mission, FIA Friends support residencies, programs and exhibitions.

FIA Friends receive these benefits:
– Invitations to all Fogo Island Arts exhibitions and programs
Exclusive invitation to an annual cocktail reception in Toronto featuring special guests
– Complimentary copy of one FIA publication

FIA RESIDENCY PATRON
FIA Residency Patrons support individual artists drawn from the annual list of participants in FIA’s international residency program. A contribution of $15,000 is applied directly to the core of FIA’s mission to support artists and offer an unparalleled residency experience.

FIA Residency Patrons receive all of the benefits outlined for FIA Friends in addition to the following:
-Opportunity to support and build a relationship with an individual artist among FIA’s international roster of artists-in-residence
-Invitation to attend a special gathering on art, leadership and contemporary ideas with Zita Cobb, Nicolaus Schafhausen and guests
-Curator’s tours of FIA exhibitions
-Studio visits with FIA artists-in-residence
-Complimentary copies of FIA publications

FIA PARTNERS
A participatory arts initiative limited to 10 memberships; $10,000 per year for three years.

FIA Partners form a limited circle of individuals with a shared passion for international artistic exchange and social innovation.

FIA Partners receive all of the benefits outlines for FIA Friends in addition to the following:
-Opportunity to join FIA’s Annual Patrons Trip, a curated excursion offering meaningful engagement with stimulating and vibrant locales through the lens of contemporary art and society
-Curator’s tours of FIA exhibitions
-Studio visits with FIA artists-in-residence
-Complimentary copies of FIA publications
-Invitation to attend a special gathering on art, leadership and contemporary ideas with Zita Cobb, Nicolaus Schafhausen and guests
-One night accommodation per year at the internationally acclaimed Fogo Island Inn

FIA ADVOCATE
A tailored Engagement in support of FIA programs.

An exclusive opportunity to support a specific Fogo Island Arts initiative, such as the Fogo Island Dialogues, film or lecture series, publication, or capital project. Advocates work closely with FIA staff and Advisory Board members to shape a new program. Benefits and privileges are tailored to each Advocate.

FOUNDERS’ CIRCLE
An exclusive group limited to five memberships; $25,000 per year for three years.

The Founders’ Circle brings together a select group of individuals whose support helps foster the success of FIA artists-in-residence and contributes to a global dialogue around ideas of art, culture, business and sustainability. Each member is offered opportunities to help shape FIA programming as well as unparalleled access to FIA including all programs and the international expertise of FIA staff and Advisory Board members.

Founders’ Circle members receive all of the benefits outlined for FIA Friends and FIA Partners in addition to the following:
– Gift of a limited edition created by an artist-in-residence
– Invitation to become an honorary member of FIA’s Advisory Board
– Founders’ Circle private dinner with Zita Cobb, Nicolaus Schafhausen and special guests
– Three nights accommodation per year at the internationally acclaimed Fogo Island Inn

FOGO ISLAND ARTS INSTITUTIONAL & CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

Fogo Island Arts’ Institutional Partnerships offer foundations and organizations the opportunity to co-design a tailored residency program. FIA Institutional Partners define the parameters of a new residency (e.g. emerging artist/curator, post-graduate student, arts educator, etc.) in collaboration with FIA staff.

Fogo Island Arts’ Corporate Partnerships are designed for corporate citizens who share FIA’s commitment to international contemporary art and to creating social, cultural and economic resiliency in both rural and urban spaces. A Corporate Partnership with FIA is a creative opportunity to think differently, to advance strategic goals, strengthen client and community relationships, and forge new international connections through FIA exhibitions and programs. Each Partnership is developed in close collaboration with FIA staff and customized to meet your specific corporate needs.
