My contribution to Stories of Social Distancing is a photograph I took of clouds over the boreal forest where I live in Portugal Cove, Newfoundland.  
 
“One way to open your eyes to unnoticed beauty is to ask yourself, ‘What if I had never seen this before? What if I knew I would never see it again?’” From The Sense of Wonder by Rachel Carson.  
 
We can look at just about anything and try out this idea.  I find it works especially well with a cloud.  I try to go outside and look up at the sky at least once every day, often at night.  For city dwellers, the sky is the last true wilderness.
