Minh Nguyen

Minh Nguyen is a writer, editor, and curator who focuses on decentered histories of conceptual, pedagogical, and cinematic arts; the communist imaginary in the avant-garde; uses of emergent technology as theme and material; and critical area studies of Asia. Currently Associate Arts Editor at Pioneer Works, Nguyen’s writing has appeared in Art in America, AQNB, Frieze, Momus, ArtAsiaPacific, and others. Formerly Curatorial Assistant for Conversations at the Edge, an experimental media program series at Gene Siskel Film Center, and Exhibit Specialist at Wing Luke Museum, she has also organized exhibitions and programs at Chicago Cultural Center, Northwest Film Forum, King Street Station, and SOIL Gallery. Nguyen holds an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
