Tamina Amadyar

Tamina Amadyar is dealing with memories to places and situations and converts them into reduced but colorful paintings which appear as free translations of space. Recently, figurative works have been added, which, however, also draw their subjects from the artist’s immediate environment and, much like her abstractions, rely on the power of colour, light and the openness of the painting process; these include portraits of family members, views of rooms and architecture, but also representations of domestic objects and food.
