About the Artist
Hugo Viana da Silva is a contemporary French artist based in Paris. He graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2024, receiving the jury’s highest honours. In 2023, he completed an academic exchange at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in the studio of Gregor Schneider. Following his studies, he was awarded a post-graduate residency at Poush (2025).
Recent exhibitions and performances include Tendre (2025) a reading and performance at Poush, Aubervilliers; Art and Life and Vice Versa (2025), Theatre of Exhibitions, Paris; Between 400 and 800 Herz (2025), Galerie du Crous, Paris; and We’re coming (2024), DOC, Paris.
