Shore Time is a biannual gathering where artists, curators, critics, architects, and designers meet at the edge of the North Atlantic to explore art, design, ecology, foodways, and place.

Join us for Shore Time: Art, Design, Place on Fogo Island, October 1–3, 2026, as we consider the role of aesthetics, materials, and geography in response to the challenges of our time.

Shore Time fosters meaningful exchanges, extending the island’s reach to the world and welcoming the world to our shores. Together, on an island off an island, we gather to reaffirm our connections to one another and build a vision of our shared future.
