Maxime Cavajani
About the Artist
Maxime Cavajani lives in France and the USA. They have exhibited, screened, and published work in both France and the USA. They hold an MFA from University of Pennsylvania (2023), a Master of Arts & Languages from EHESS Paris (2019), and a Diplôme d’Architecte d’État from ENSAVersailles (2012). Cavajani’s awards include RISD’s MovementLab Fellowship (2023-2024)and the Flaherty Fellowship Bangkok edition (2024), among others. They are currently completing an experimental film, Forrest For The Trees (2025), exploring the belief system created by American fisherman/painter Forrest Bess (1911-1977). Cavajani is a recipient of FIA’s inaugural residency for emerging French artists.
