Christiane Keys-Statham

Christiane Keys-Statham is a curator, project manager, cultural researcher and writer, living and working in Sydney/Warrane, on Gadigal, Wangal and Dharug Countries. She acknowledges Elders past and present, and recognise all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ deep and continuing connection to the land now known as Australia.

About the Curator

Her work focuses on art and environment, and she is dedicated to expanding the potential of contemporary public art through collaborative projects with artists, custodians, scientists, activists, historians, academics and architects. She believes firmly in the potential for art and artists to affect positive social and environmental change and aims to expand this potential through her work. She brings to all of her projects a passion for contemporary art, a deep connection to landscape, a commitment to facilitating equity and inclusion in public life and a dedication to supporting artists to deliver ambitious projects.
