Fogo Island Arts and Shorefast Patrons Travel to Shanghai 2025

This November, Shorefast and Fogo Island Arts patrons will journey to Shanghai in support of Strategic Director Kitty Scott, who has been appointed Chief Curator of the 15th Shanghai Biennale, Does the flower hear the bee?. Led by art historian Tom McDonough, the group will immerse itself in Shanghai’s dynamic contemporary art scene, engaging with leading artists and curators while experiencing the city’s rich cultural history. From November 7–11, participants will take part in a thoughtfully curated program that includes the Biennale at the Power Station of Art alongside private tours of renowned spaces such as West Bund, TANK Shanghai, Prada Rong Zhai, Rock Bund Art Museum, Fotografiska Museum, and the Museum of Art Pudong, among others. With guided travel support, enriching group opportunities, and moments of cross-cultural exchange, FIA ensures a vibrant and memorable encounter with one of the world’s most compelling art capitals.
