Sharon Lockhart's new film installation WINDWARD explores the landscape of Fogo Island and how local youth engage with it through unstructured play.

WINDWARD is now on view at the Fogo Island Gallery. It plays on a loop, so you can walk in anytime during gallery hours (daily from 11 AM and 4 PM) and watch for as long as you want.

If you would like to learn more about Sharon Lockhart and the making of the film or ask any questions, there are Guided Tours every Thursday at 2 PM. The final day for Guided Tours is Thursday, October 30, 2025.
